It’s a new season for my CSA and pick-up days have moved from Fridays to Saturdays. It’s my intent to post what we receive every week and what we do with the produce.
So this week I received tons of greens and some fruit including:
- Pomegranates even an intriguing white one
- Meyer lemons
- Eureka lemons
- Parsley (with super huge leaves)
- Bok choi
- Gai lan (or a cousin of it)
- Beet greens
- Radish greens
- Snow peas
- A dozen eggs (not pictured)
I’m thinking of doing a squash and lemongrass soup, a parsley lemon dip, stir fried Asian greens, and eating the pomegranates out of hand. Let’s see if it goes according to plan.
